Adventure will incorporate a geography focus within Humanities with Outdoor Education and Health & Physical Education.
The Adventure project requires students to investigate, plan, experience and reflect on an outdoor environment and a journey with minimal environmental impact. The location of the five-day journey will vary across the year. Prior to the journey, students will participate in practical activities to equip them with the skills for their outdoor experience.
Adventure will embrace physical, social and emotional wellbeing; fitness and training; practical skill development; natural and human impacts of land use; and sustainable management strategies.
