 “Life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth” Exodus 21:23-25, Leviticus 24:17, Deuteronomy 19:21

Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the sight of everybody…Do not take revenge, my friends, be leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written, “It is mine to revenge, I will repay.” Romans 12:17-19
