Academic Honesty

MYP Project Requirements

  • MYP personal projects must assess all strands of all four assessment criteria.
  • Each of the four criteria are worth 8 marks (total 32). The mark is then converted to a MYP Grade 1-7
  • Students must submit a signed Academic Honesty statement signed by both student and mentor.
  • Students must submit a hard copy of the report, including the bibliography, appendices, evidence of product and the academic honesty statement in a plastic pocket (no presentation folders will be accepted)
  • Reports are to be submitted using the report template using Calibri 12pt font 
  • A bibliography must be included, (MyBib.com) on a separate page/s, following the accepted conventions of the college (Harvard style)
  • Maximum of 10 A4 extracts from the journal (at the end of the report) plus additional evidence of the product (up to 5 still images in a single PDF or 30 seconds of video/audio) 
  • Each student must also email  the Final Report as a PDF to personalproject@materchristi.edu.au which include the following:
    • Report 
    • Bibliography
    • Appendices
    • Evidence of product (MP3 file if applicable) 
  • Naming the PDF
    • ​the PDF must use the following naming protocol:
      • ​SURNAME_INITIAL_REPORT2019
